The educational collaboration program was conducted between Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at El Paso through a memorandum of understanding signed on January 12, 2017 and took effectively in 5 years (2017-2021). To continue the collaboration between the two universities in the new period from 2022-2024, the second memorandum of understanding signed by Prof. Richard A. Lange and Assoc.Prof Nguyen Thanh Hiep on December 21, 2021 via online performance due to the complicated situation of the Covid-19 pandemic between the two countries.
Through the second memorandum of understanding, the two universities will continue to collaborate on such matters as:
- Continuing Professional Development;
- Establish curriculum to promote the learner-centered and competency-based education;
- Provide the tools to analyze and incorporate feedback from peers and learners to improve teaching;
